Drim Daniel Distribuție FMCG started its activity in 1994. Today, the company delivers consumer goods to more than 10,000 stores in 14 counties, using a distribution fleet of about 380 cars and trucks.
The characteristics of FMCG products require efficient distribution and fast deliveries to avoid expiry of the product shelf life. For this purpose, and to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled as quickly and error-free as possible, the company has chosen to automate workflows in more than 10 warehouses across the country using the xTrack WMS solution.
Thus, in order to manage large quantities of varied products and streamline warehousing and distribution activities, the automated workflows include: picking operations, labeling and scanning to ensure product traceability and inventory accuracy, creation of transport orders.
