Automobile Dacia S.A. is the largest Romanian car manufacturer, founded in 1966 in Colibași (now known as Mioveni). It has been part of the French group Renault since September 1999.
The company produces cars and car parts which it sells not only on the domestic market but also abroad, being one of the largest Romanian exporters.
Having become one of the Renault group’s brands, Dacia has developed as part of an extensive network of production units and has been integrated into a complex European supply chain.
In order to reduce the costs required by the transportation of the necessary auto parts, the company decided to organise and optimise its European transport routes using xTrack TMS.
